Those eyes tell a story I can’t figure,
Of thought filled day dreams,
I wonder what makes your gaze so intent,
Someday maybe you might let me in
your dream world, so I may also know
what lies behind those eyes.
Those windows open up a soul so gentle,
A heart so loving, and a mind so dreamful,
I’m no mind reader, but It’s all in those eyes,
So please don’t close me out, just let me in,
Perhaps just for a minute, an hour or day,
So I get to share in your daydreams.
Those eyes send chills to my spine,
They seem to see right through me,
They seem to read my thoughts,
To know my dreams and desires.
If really eyes can talk, then respond.
